BeachMint, the parent company of all the Mint shops, had an open house the other week allowing you to try any of the divisions with no obligation. If you're not familiar with the Mints, there are currently 6 different shops represented by certain celebrities:
StyleMint,
JewelMint,
BeautyMint,
ShoeMint,
HomeMint, and
intiMINT. All are monthly subscription based - your credit card is charged 1 credit at the beginning of the month (amount varies depending on the Mint) but you have the option to skip a month within the first few days, which I always do.
I'm only subscribed to ShoeMint, curated by one of my favorite style muses, Rachel Bilson. So far I've bought
3 5 pairs of shoes... a post for another day. With the open house I quickly browsed the other shops and was intrigued by
intiMINT, curated by Brooke Burke-Charvet. In the end, I bought three pieces.
When I received the package, it arrived in a cute box. Included was a free undergarment bag for the washer. I own similar bags from
The Container Store, they definitely come in handy when protecting your garments from snags and such.
I really like the contrast on this one. The blue color first caught my eye, but black and white was more appealing. If I buy more, I'll pick up the blue colorway.
I really like boyshort undies. Lace boyshorts? Why not.
Seriously, I don't know what I was thinking buying a bandeau. I'm incredibly top-heavy and a bandeau has no supportive properties for me. Despite this, I still purchased one and don't regret it one bit. It's one of those items I'll never wear out of the house. Scratch that, I might wear it with the J. Crew Kimono Sleeve Maxidress I bought
earlier this month (I loved it so much I couldn't return it).
I want the following pieces:
Overall, I like their offerings. Things I would love to see from intiMINT in the future: cute bras with underwires!
